Biography
Professor Davis is a native of Warren, Ohio and a graduate of Youngstown State University. He earned his Masters and Doctoral degrees at the University of Arizona. Prior to arriving at 体育菠菜大平台 in 1986, he taught at the U of A, Pima Community College, The American 最大的菠菜的平台 School of International Management and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Professor Davis teaches the American Survey and a Survey of Latin American history in addition to upper division courses on the Gilded Age in US 历史, Hispanics in America, U.S. – Latin American Relations, the 历史 of Mexico, the 历史 of Argentina, and Revolution in Latin America. Professor Davis’ research interests focus on nineteenth century state development and national culture; Hispanics in the United States, and specifically the Great Plains region and the history of higher education in the United States.
